Terri is inspired by organic forms and in her work she seeks to emphasise the contrasts between the natural word and man-made elements, such as in her series of ships sculptures that ride upon the sea. Sometimes ideas come fully formed into her head; sometimes she creates a sculpture directly in clay allowing the idea for the composition to develop as she works.
