John
is intrigued by the full range of human emotions, which
he endeavours to express through his sculpture. He has
tackled subjects of great pathos, as expressed in his
Soldiers of Ypres. He has also celebrated his love of
music by sculpting a head of Beethoven and of his love
of sculpture by making a head of Rodin.
John
models in clay and then casts in either ciment fondu,
stone or bronze.
He
also carves in stone.
