Jonathan sculpts for theatre, TV and film productions. In the process, he has developed special skills that are now enabling him to express in his personal work with close attention to detail from observation, whilst conveying the feelings and energy in his sculptures of the human form and animal. As well as displaying his work at exhibitions, he seeks direct commissions.

Jonathan models his work in plastilene from which moulds are produced, so enabling his works to be cast in editions, making it more accessible to the public. He is currently mastering the art of coloured patination to add variety and delight to his sculptures, as shown by the seahorses.
