Christine's
preferred subject is the horse, but she sculpts other
animals, such as: dogs, cats, birds and also human figures.
Her horse sculptures are often inspired by the Chinese
Tang dynasty and share the lively and decorative qualities
of Tang horses. Each sculpture is unique. They range
in height from 10 to 24 inches.
Christine
sculptures's are in glazed ceramic with rich coloured
glazes-mainly blues, greens and ochres, applied in various
combinations, resulting in a range of serendipitous
effects with a creamy jade-like quality. Her sculptures
are also cast in bronze and resin bronze.
