Carol
sees life as an adventure of moving through shapes:
in the human form, in nature and in every day objects.
Via this journey she sees the emotional experiences,
such as joy, love, pain, sorrow, despair, reflected
in our bodily form. With a restless, energetic determination,
Carol strives to express this view of life in her sculpture.
Through
modelling Carol's finished sculptures are produced in
resin bronze and cast stone; but occasionally she carves
directly in wood, or stone. In 2003 she carved the Madonna
& Child in oak as a commission for St. Peters Church,
Petersfield.
