From a life-long love of ancient and primitive art, Beltane’s sculpture expresses his strong desire to create work blending contemporary themes with those from ancient civilisations. For him, megalithic remains, as those at Stonehenge, have always held a form containing a spirit unto itself ever moving him to create in metal a feeling no words can define.
